A day out of your zone

To enjoy a vibrant sunny day as we approach the end of Summer, the students and teachers of Your Zone Academy gathered at a beautiful park in Sidi Bou Said. It was spacious enough for us to enjoy playing games, have a picnic and discuss about our future ambitions. In this entry, you will be reading about the event from the different points of views written by some of the students who attended the gathering!

Dania:

The scenery of the park was picturesque. Surrounding the towering trees was a lake where ducks swam. The trees were large enough to offer us shade from the sun and there was no humidity, I thought the environment was perfect for this weather. The first thing we all did was eat breakfast. I only had a bit of the Ftira and strawberry juice because my appetite simply doesn't exist in the early morning.

After breakfast, we all went to a nearby grassy space where we played games. The first one we played was a communication game; I can't say that i'm great at the game,, i guessed 'superman' when the correct answer was something completely different. At least my mistake made a few people laugh so that's great! Another game i enjoyed was a memory game; each of us had to introduce ourselves and the person after us had to recall it. The games were so fun to me, it had been a long time since i played physical games like this rather than virtual ones.

We all sat down and listened to three people talk about their experiences; Mohamed Elbagbri, Marwan El Hadhri and Joe. I found their talks to be motivating. Marwan gave us advice about entrepreneurship while Mohamed and Joe encouraged us to always pursue what we like and assured us that it's never too late to discover new passions.
