Nerves Crushed
I never thought I would be able to complete AS level history in 5 months. Studying for them was a breeze because there were only 5 chapters and I frequently practiced exam skills with Mr. Fedi after each topic. I also had much of the knowledge already stuck to my head since I am a history nerd..
I’ve had a history (no pun intended..) of feeling extremely nauseous before my exams. When I entered the British council with an internally calm mindset, I started feeling suspicious.
I forgot everything i wrote just seconds after I handed in the paper. It’s like some greater entity erased my memories after the time was up. Overall, I answered well and on time. Despite the headaches I got over trying to finish on time.
I was elated to find that I got a B in history! I studied to the point that I was completely confident and performed the best that I could in the exam, so I believe that if I wasn’t so nervous I would’ve aced it.
